Alana De La Garza's beauty is awe-inspiring on small screens. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. De La Garza emigrated shortly to Texas to study in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period before she moved in Orlando Florida. She took on a variety of acting roles, including local independent movies and commercials. Despite having small parts, De La Garza soon realized that she was drawn to performing. She moved from New York and in 2001 she got her first role on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. During the early part of the decade she was seen in tiny parts for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was in the 2004 short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza had the delight of working with outstanding TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was on the show for 85 episodes. After a short time, her character moved over to Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for several awards, including Best Supporting Actress-TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, De La Garza was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring character. She was Marisol Deko in the role of Horatio Caine's wife. The most recent television appearance was in the role of Doctor. Lena Solis on NBC's somewhat dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC in the first two episodes.
